Athletes Of The Week

Rachel Apple

Edgewood - Senior
Swimming

Rachel is a four year letter winner and team captain. She was a member of two 2nd place finishing relays and placed in individual events at the SWOC Championships. Rachel is the first captain her coach has had in years that has actually stepped up to the student leader role and encouraged the new members, coordinated transportation on snow days to practice, corrected problems before they arose in the locker room and performed at her best by example.


Keyshawn Bourrage

Northwest - Senior
Basketball

This week, Keyshawn scored 27 points with 14 rebounds against Mt. Healthy and he scored 19 points with 10 rebounds against Talawanda.


Gavin Toye

Little Miami - Junior
Bowling

Gavin is one of the most consistant spare shooters for the Little Miami Panthers Bowling Team. Last week, he rolled his first back to back 200 games with games of 200 and 252 vs New Miami.


Will Nieman

Harrison - Junior
Basketball

Will averaged 17 points and 4 assists over the last 2 games.


Sydney Neckel

Harrison - Senior
Swimming

Sydney finished her career off with a personal best time in the 100 Breaststroke, with a time of 1:27.21, at the Cincinnati Sectional Meet.


Chayce Helms

Harrison - Junior
Swimming

Chayce led off the 200 Free Relay with a personal best time of 27.15, which led the relay team to a 7th place finish at the Cincinnati Sectional Meet. He also had a personal record time in the 100 Back, with a time of 1:15.63.


Alyssa Chaney

Talawanda - Freshman
Swimming

Alyssa completed her first 200 Free (3:06.61) and 500 Free (8:39.62) this past weekend at the Sectional Championships.


Arthur de Boer

Talawanda - Senior
Swimming

Arthur knocked 21 seconds off of his 200 Free (2:43.23) and 48 seconds off of his 500 Free (7:23.91) this past weeked at the Sectional Championships.


McKenzie Mobley

Harrison - Junior
Basketball

McKenzie had a great game against Ross, shooting an incredible 8 of 10 from the field and 7 of 8 from 3 point range for a total of 23 points. She also added an assist and 2 steals in the Wildcat victory.


Ava Tombragel

Harrison - Sophomore
Basketball

Ava had a nice all-around game against Mt. Healthy. She shot 3 of 5 from the field, 3 for 3 from three point range and also added an assist. It was her defense that stood out, as she recorded 6 steals to help the Wildcats to a victory.


Sante Williams

Northwest - Senior
Basketball

Sante's performance this week was amazing, leading Northwest to two victories while scoring 14 and 18 points respectively with 8 steals. She's a point guard and helped lead the other ladies on the floor to those victories.
